Catalina Marine Society volunteers suggest
experiments and provide analytical support to other
groups executing marine research projects in the
Southern California Bight. Our specialty is signal
processing and analysis of large digital data sets
within the context of physical oceanography. Our
results have been used by researchers at Scripps
Institution of Oceanography; the University of
California, Los Angeles; the University of Southern
California; California State University, Northridge;
the Channel Islands National Park; and, the Catalina
Island Conservancy.
